With fabulous views out across the harbour, this garden needed to become low maintenance and a foil to its stunning backdrop.

Originally set out on awkward raised tiers full of unruly shrubs, new curving borders and steps were carefully designed and built, linking two lawns by a slope and creating interesting areas to be planted with sun loving groundcover plants tolerant of wind and sea air.

Sometimes a plant pallette is created to help communicate the mood or style of the proposed planting

This project was designed and managed in two phases for separate areas of the garden. This can help with budgeting and project management.
CAD 3D spatial design of hot tub and steps
For phase 2, a hot tub to enjoy the 180 degree sea view was designed and incorporated into the retaining walls and softened with sub tropical and mediteranean planting.
